Description
From the simplest bracket to the most sophisticated component, a variety of parts can be precision milled on our CNC Horizontal machining centers. Our speciality is working with prototype development along with short to long production lots. On receipt of customer drawings, our programming system allows our programmers to down load and program directly from supplied drawings, thus greatly improving the setup and response times. Our equipments include Mori Seiki SH50 and SH500 CNC machining centers with dual pallet systems for non-stop machining operations. Machines have 60-position auto tool changing features and speeds of up to 10,000 rpm.
Most all types of materials are machined at LMI, including titanium, aluminum, stainless, various grades of steel, castings and plastics. Industries served include aerospace, medical, transportation and military.
Quality program is AS9100 and ISO 9001:2008. All inspections are performed using CMM and Faro Arm measurements.
