We then continue to the H'mong (Meo) Hill Tribe Village of Pha Nokok, situated high above Mai Rim Valley and our visit here will give an insight into a "modern-day" Hill Tribe Village.
On our descent we stop for lunch at a local restaurant, before visiting "Thung Luang Hill Tribe Village". This village forms the Ethno-Eco agricultural Livelihood Conservation Group, which is combined of various ethnic Hill Tribes, including thePadong "long-necked" tribe,Karen, Lahu, Palong, Yao & H'mong Hill Tribes that has been established up in a natural environment and will give you a good insight intothe different Hill Tribes traditional Culture and way of life.
We can also call in to see Dara Pirom Museum which is the former House of the late Princess Jao Dara Rasamee. Princess Jao Dara Rasamee who died in 1933 is still remembered for her good works and kindness and experimental farming techniques. The museum contains many furnishings, antiques, photographs and other personal items of the princess.
